Feature helical staircase for treatment centre
D. Wilson manufactured and installed this helical staircase and complimentary balustrades to stair walkway bridge and atrium levels for the Good Hope hospital. Materials included stainless steel, mild steel & toughened glass.

Construction
The fabricated stainless steel balustrades fixed to a mild steel staircase structure, toughened glazing panels mechanically mounted in place. The stainless steel handrails are side mounted on balusters. The structure was mechanically fixed at landing level with half landing column support.

Mild steel staircase structure finishes were factory applied before delivery. Satin polish to stainless steel baluster, handrails and kickrails. Folded plate steel treads and risers tiled by others.
