Mace appointed D Wilson to design manufacture and install this cantilevered staircase with glass balustrades to an Art Decor style London apartment block.
To complement the Art Decor feel of the Chiltern Place duplex D Wilson designed a modern looking clean staircase utilising glass balustrades and timber handrails.
Construction
Primed cantilevered stair carriage with mild steel folded treads and risers. Mild steel profile stringers cladded in timber provide a discreet void for securing the structural glass balustrade with bronze capping. Custom made concealed balustrade fixing brackets provide a clean finish.
Finish
Timber clad risers, treads and stringers give this staircase and elegant finish. The structural glass balustrade is capped with a mild steel trim which has a bronze effect finish. Our in-house finishing team have an eye for detail and ensure the best presentation of our work.
