Helical staircase for a prestigious marketing suite

The marketing suite at Dickens Yard wanted a feature staircase to accent the prestige of the development. D Wilson produced 3D drawings and initial concepts before manufacturing and installing this stunning Helical staircase with glazed treads and structual glass balustrades.

The balustrade on this staircase is structural glass with top mounted stainless steel handrails. Helical Rolled fabricated stringer conceals balustrade fixing method. The laminated glass Treads are supported on feature stainless steel brackets.

Construction

Fabricated stainless steel helical rolled box section stringers. Toughened & laminated glass treads on fabricated stainless steel support brackets. Curved toughened structural glass balustrade fixed into central void within stringers. Helical rolled handrail bonded to top of glass balustrade.

Satin polished stainless steel staircase stringers and handrails. Polished by our in-house team. The structural glass is bonded within a concealed void in the stainless steel stringers to provide a seamless look and crisp finish.
