External feature handrails for the Strand London

St James utilised the expertise of the team at D Wilson to design, manufacture and install a myriad of architectural steelwork from external balustrades to penthouse staircases for this prestigious London location.

This project involved the design and installation of external steel balustrades, walk out balcony balustrades to raised external areas and timber infill feature Juliet balconies. The entrance is a mild steel frame with toughened glass and timber.

Construction

The stainless steel external balustrades have a top mounted timber handrail and decorative timber inserts enhancing the approach to the building. Mild steel wet painted balcony balustrades with full-length timber inserts and top mounted timber handrails compliment the feature door.

Finish

A mix of satin polished stainless steel and wet painted mild steel with top mounted french polished timber handrails. All priming is done off-site and all finish detailing is done by our in-house finishing team.
